Liebes Personal einer bekannten und beliebten rosaroten Drogeriemarktkette!

Ich weiß, Sie können nichts dafür, ich weiß, Sie werden von ihren Vorgesetzten dazu angehalten, aber … Nein, ich habe keine Kundenkarte, und nein, ich will auch keine. Ja, ich weiß, daß ich dann diesen Artikel und auch einige andere ein wenig billiger bekomme. Aber nachdem ich weder meine verlustig gegangene noch eine neubestellte Karte nach über drei Jahren von ihrem Servicecenter ausgestellt oder gar zugeschickt bekommen habe, will ich jetzt wirklich keine mehr. Und, nein, ich hab die neue Kosmetiklinie nicht gesehen und ich brauch sie auch nicht. Ich halte mich für einen mündigen Kunden und kann mir meine Sachen selber aussuchen (*). Wenn ich mal was nicht finde oder etwas spezielles brauche, dann komm ich schon und frage – versprochen! (Und ich bin auch ganz begeistert, daß sie dann wirklich immer so freundlich und hilfsbereit sind). Nein, ich hab mir fünf Artikel ausgesucht, nein, ich brauch nicht auch noch Gutscheine, ich will nur die fünf Sachen, nicht mehr und nicht weniger, und ich will bittebitte einfach nur bezahlen! Danke.

I know, you are not the one to blame and I know, that you are urged to do so by your superiors, but … No, I do not own loyalty card, and no, I do not want one either. Yes, I know, I would geht this one item (and several others) a bit cheaper. But by not getting a replacement for my lost one and neither getting a new one issued by your service center after more than three years, I really do not want one any more. And no, I haven’t seen the new line of cosmetics and I do not want to. I think of myself as being a responsible customer – I’m really able to choose on my own. (**) Whenever I can’t find something or need something special, I’ll come and ask – promised! (And I really appreciate, that you are really always very helpful and friendly.) No, I just want my five items, no, I do not want any coupons, just that five things, nothing more, and pleeeease all I really want is just pay! Thanksbai.

(*) Ich fände es an dieser Stelle allerdings sehr praktisch wenn sie mich stattdessen auf jene Dinge aufmerksam machen würden, welche ich tatsächlich bräuchte, aber vergessen habe, einzukaufen, weil sie aus irgend einem Grund mal wieder nicht den Weg auf die Einkaufsliste gefunden haben.

Der Sommer ist schon wieder fast vorbei (nachdem er vor wenigen Wochen erst so richtig begonnen hatte), gestern war der letzte Saisontag hier im örtlichen Freiband. Jetzt heißts wieder warten bis Mitte Mai nächsten Jahres. Ich glaub, nächstes Jahr besorg ich mir aber wirklich eine Saisonkarte und verzichte mal gern auf die noble Blässe.

Summer’s almost over again (after it had started only a few weeks ago – remember that weather in July??), and yesterday it was the last day of the bathing-season in our local public open-air-bath. Now we have to wait ’till the middle of next May *sigh*. I think, next year I’ll really buy a season ticket and divest myself of keeping that noble pale complexion.

Endlich ist es so weit! Das neue Blogdesign ist fertig, ganz grandios erstellt von si|ben|reich. Die älteren Blogposts brauchen noch so einiges an Überarbeitung, also bitte nicht wundern, wenn da das eine oder andere noch nicht ins Layout paßt. Wie immer ist es nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis ich mit dem Editieren durch bin. Und, beobachtet von jetzt an auch die Landingpage www.alwapetroni.com …

It’s finally done! Say hello to the brand new blogdesign, ingeniously created by sil|ben|reich. Regarding older blogposts, there’s still a lot of editing to be done, so please don’t wonder if you will find some that do not match with the new layout. It’s, as usual,  just a matter if time, ’till I’m done with it.  Also – from now on – keep an eye on the landingpage www.alwapetroni.com …

Hier wird sich in der nächsten Zeit ein bissl was ändern.

Zum einen wird das Blog umziehen auf eine neue URL, aber keine Sorge, es gibt dann ein entsprechendes Redirect und die Inhalte verschwinden auch nicht. Auch wirds ein komplett neues Blogdesign geben, Klaudia von Sil/ben/reich bastelt grade dran und ich freu mich schon riesig drauf. Uuuund, last but not least wird das Blog zweisprachig. Und zwar genau …… jetzt.

There are some major changes ahead regarding this blog’s appearance .
First, the blog will move to a new URL, but don’t worry, there will be a redirect and the previous contents won’t vanish either. Next, there will be a completely new design, Klaudia of Sil/ben/reich is currently working on it and I’m really looking forward to! And – last but not least – this blog’s gonna be bilingual……….erm, yes, right now.

Endlich! Bin grad zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr mit dem Teehäferl draußen gesessen.
